Van Halen is being inducted to the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame in March. According to the article, the inductees usually perform at the ceremony. That creates a special problem for the boys who put my teenage fantasies to song.
As of today, there is no lead singer, and the bassist is a 15 year old kid (Eddie’s son). That should make for some first class garage band music. I completely agree with Van Halen being inducted, but who will they consist of for the record?
Should it be Diamond Dave or Sammy? And what about poor Michael Anthony? Should the 15 year old son of the founder really get his name in the annals of music history?
These questions will keep me awake tonight.
